Ẩn danh sách file đã mở trong hộp thoại Open & Save

Thông thường, khi bạn bấm vào mũi tên của khung Filename trong hộp thoại Open hay Save thì Explorer sẽ tự động hiển thị danh sách các file bạn đã mở hay lưu.

Nếu không muốn người khác biết bạn đã từng làm việc với những file gì, bạn có thể giấu danh sách này đi theo cách dưới đây:

- Mở menu Start > chọn All Programs > chọn Accessories > chọn Notepad.

- Trong cửa sổ Notepad, bạn nhập nội dung sau:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32]
"NoFileMru"=dword:00000001

Rồi mở menu File > chọn Save As và đặt tên file là nofilemru.reg. Sau đó, bạn chạy file này để thay đổi Registry của Windows. Sự thay đổi sẽ có hiệu lực ngay lập tức.

Khi nào cần cho hiển thị lại danh sách file đã truy cập trong khung Filename, bạn chỉ việc mở Registry Editor rồi tìm xóa khóa NoFileMru theo đường dẫn trong file này là xong.

Hủy bỏ chức năng Windows Update

Những người dùng Windows không có bản quyền thì bị Microsoft khóa Windows không cho sử dụng vì chức năng Windows Update tự động cập nhật và phát hiện Windows đang chạy là bất hợp pháp. Bạn có thể vô hiệu hóa chức năng Windows Update bằng cách dưới đây.

- Mở Notepad và nhập nội dung sau:

Rồi mở menu File > chọn Save As và đặt tên file là nowindowsupdate.reg. Sau đó, bạn chạy file này để thay đổi Registry của Windows và khởi động lại Windows để thay đổi có hiệu lực.

Nếu muốn khôi phục lại chức năng này, bạn dùng Notepad để tạo file tên update.reg với nội dung sau:

Rồi chạy file này để thay đổi Registry của Windows.
